Reducer Filter Model 970-SB

Fully metallic Reducer Filter (aluminium body and galvanised steel caps), highly resistant to shocks; it regulates the pressure of gaseous fluids (compressed air, gases etc…) and filters them through a sintered steel cartridge, 1/4’’NPT-F process connections, suitable for the regulation of input pressures as high as 10.5 ATM.
STRUMENTAZIONE PNEUMATICA Reducer Filter Model 970-SS

Reducer Filter entirely made of STAINLESS STEEL, highly resistant to shocks; it regulates the pressure of gaseous fluids (compressed air, gases etc…) and filters them through a sintered stainless steel cartridge; 1/4’’NPT-F process connections; suitable for the regulation of input pressures as high as 10.5 ATM.

Description Reducer Filter Models 970-SB e 970-SS

Correct running of pneumatic equipments in industrial processes depends, most of cases, on steady and safe feed, i.e. feed realized by air being continuously pressure controlled and filtered too. Domizi Snc included in their products range also the Filter 970, and in order to extend application possibilities, they produce it in two different versions, with outer chamber in Carbon steel, and in Stainless steel AISI 304; both versions can be fixed on the same line of air pipe, or on a wall thanks to L bracket, or fixed on the back of a panel : as described below.
Filter. Air is filtered by a cartridge made in sintered stainless steel, easy to be restored and replaced. Its chamber is provided with drain valve to take away the oil condensate present in feeding air.
Adjustment. The outgoing air pressure is kept steady by a diaphragm controlled by a load spring and by a pilot valve; the adjustment of this pressure is realized by acting on the screw loading the spring.

Operation range. The Filter 970 can accept inlet air with pressure up to 150 psi (10,5 bar), and is available in 3 different outlet pressures : 0÷30 psi (0÷2,1 bar), 0÷60 psi (0÷4,2 bar), 0÷100 psi (0÷6,6 bar). The instrument, when adjusted at 20psi (1,4 bar) and feeded at 100psi (7 bar), assures a flow of 20 Nm³/h.
Connections. The Filter 970 has 4 threaded holes ¼” NPT-F, placed at 90° on the central body. The inlet air hole is marked E, while the remaining 3 outlet holes are marked U and may be connected to 3 users, or to 2 users + 1 manometer. When not used, the outlet U holes shall be kept plugged by the socket head screws delivered on issue.
Manometer. Upon request, the Filter 970 can be supplied together with a Ø50mm manometer for the outlet pressure. It is available in 3 scales : 0÷30 psi (0÷2,1 bar), 0÷60 psi (0÷4,2 bar), 0÷100 psi (0÷6,6 bar); it is supplied not mounted, so that installer himself can decide the most suitable position for him.

  Model 58S

The 58S high-pressure Selector Relay selects the higher of two pneumatic signals and directly transmits the selected signal to the downstream system item. There is no feedback, so this relay doesn’t cause any delay.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND OPERATION:
The High Pressure Selector Relay Model 58S selects the higher of two signals and releases it directly to the next element of an instrument circuit. There is no retransmission which means there will be no time delay caused by this relay. As shown in the schematic (Figure 1), input pressure “A” is directed to the top of the floating disc and input pressure “B” to the bottom. When input pressure “A” exceeds input pressure “B” the floating disc moves down closes the “B” input air passage, and permits the greater “A” input pressure to pass through to the output. The reverse occurs when input pressure “B” is greater. Model 58S is supplied with a Neoprene floating disc and is limited to maximum input pressures of 30 psi. Model 58SH is supplied with a Teflon floating disc and is limited to maximum input pressures of 100 psi. Model 58SH can be used for pressures below 30 psi but small leaks from an input, past the floating disc and to the output, may occur.
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION: Aluminium body, neoprene or Teflon floating disc.

  Model 61F and 61FE

The 61F low-pressure Selector Relay selects the lower of two pneumatic signals and transmits the pressure signal to the downstream system item.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Booster Relay Model 61F selects the lower of two signals and releases it directly to the next element of an instrument circuit.
OPERATION as a Low Pressure Selector Relay
When the input pressure “A” is lower than the input pressure “B” the selector reproduces the input pressure “A” . When the input pressure “B” is lower than the input pressure “A” the pilot valve remains fully open and the input pressure “B” is transmitted directly trough the relay.

OPERATION as a Booster Relay
When the input pressure is increased, the diaphragm assembly moves downward opening the supply air port of the pilot valve. The output pressure then increases until the output pressure, which creates a force under the diaphragm assembly, balances the input pressure which creates a force above the diaphragm assembly. When the diaphragm assembly is in balance, the pilot valve will shut off the supply air. When the input pressure is decreased, the diaphragm assembly moves upward and opens the pilot valve exhaust port. The output pressure will bleed down until the output pressure and input pressure balance the diaphragm assembly. This will shut off the exhaust. The Model 61FE Booster Relay is similar to the model 61F.The main difference is that the 61FE includes a 1/8” NPT connection for those applications where a tapped exhaust is required. MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION:
Aluminium body, membrane neoprene ,stainless steel , brass.
